DIFFERENT FORCES

CLASSIFICATION DIFFERENTFORCES

DIFFERENT TYPE OF FORCE

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ABSOLUTE INSTRUMENTS AND SECONDARY INSTRUMENTS:

➢ Absolute instruments take more time to compute there magnitude of the quantity being measured.
➢ These type of instruments are used in the standard laboratory or institutions.
➢ Secondary instruments take less time to compute the magnitude of the quantity being measured.
➢ These type instruments are used in every sphere of measurement.

TYPES OF ANALOG INSTRUMENTS :

➢ Permanent magnet moving coil(PMMC)
➢ Moving Iron
➢ Induction
➢ Rectifier
➢ Hot wire
➢ Thermo couple
➢ Electrostatic
➢ Electro-dynamometer

BASIC REQUIREMENTS FOR MEASUREMENTS

➢ OPERATING FORCE
➢ DEFLECTING FORCE
➢ CONTROLLING FORCE
➢ DAMPING FORCE

• DEFLECTING FORCE

The deflecting force is produced by the diflecting system or moving system. The deflecting system of an instrument converts the electric current or potential into a mechanical force called deflecting force. The deflecting system acts as the prime mover responsible for deflection of the pointer.
